Planbook for Windows 2.5 Update!

with 5 comments

While the recent posts have detailed the imminent release of Planbook 2.5 for Mac, I have steadily been making progress on the massive update to Planbook for Windows that will bring in all of the great new features in Planbook for Mac.

As proof, I include the screen shot seen to the right.  Please notice that assignments and tags are already functional.  Additionally, adding standards and applying them to lessons is functional.  I’m working hard to make PlanbookConnect.com syncing work.

While deadlines are hard to set in the software world, especially when trying to teach at the same time, I hope to release a beta version of 2.5 for Windows before spring break (March 20th).  Planbook 2.5 for Windows will be a free upgrade for current Planbook users.

As always, contact me with questions.

  1. Jeff,

Will you be publishing a planbook update that will work on Windows 7? I purchased planbook this past August, ‘09. I have been using it all school year and feel now like I couldn’t live without it. I currently have windows vista but was considering the windows 7 upgrade. Let me know.

    Thanks,
    Tracy

  3. Hi Jeff,
i have version 1.31 installed and now added the serial number. When i go to update, the software informs me that it’s the most up to date version. How can I get into the new version 2.5? I downloaded it, but seems there is no installer?
    thanks

  4. 1.3.1 is currently the most up to date version of Windows Planbook. There will be an update (2.5) in the next month or so…as a beta and then full release.

  5. Hi Jeff,
In the windows version, are there any plans to add some functionality to address the odd day when you see the same class twice?

i.e when you teach one class 4 times a week over 3 days (one day you see them for lesson 1 & 2 (or more annoyingly lesson 1 & 5). Or is there a work around this that still works with bump & yank etc.

    Many thanks
    Paul
