Create Your File

  • Like many Mac applications, Planbook uses documents (files) to store your data.
  • A single Planbook file contains all the courses you enter, all your lesson information and settings.
  • To get started, walk through the file creator that appears when starting Planbook. Enter your classes, dates and teaching schedule (rotating or not) and get started planning in seconds.

Enter Lesson Information

  • Enter lesson information using a familiar, iCal like interface
  • Click on a lesson and start adding information into the six customizable fields or add a title.
  • Tag lessons with keywords.
  • Create units of lessons in a course
  • Apply standards to lessons
  • Create assignments with assigned and due dates
  • Add files and websites directly to lessons
