Additional Planbook Features

Non-School Days and Calendar Changes

• Planbook lets you easily add holidays, teacher work days and other non-school days with a right click
• Deal with unexpected cancellations- your plans can easily be shifted ahead by a day without erasing a thing
• Those on rotating schedules can choose to have the non-school day removed from the rotation, or have the rotation pushed ahead by a day.

Bump and Yank Lessons

• With a single right click you can bump what you've planned for a lesson to the next occurrence of that class. All subsequent lessons will also be bumped.
• Similarly, you can yank lessons back to move future lessons backwards

Sync to iCal

• With a single click, sync your lessons to iCal. Lesson times and information are seamlessly transferred into calendars matching your courses.
• You choose the lesson fields that you'd like to have synced.
• If you sync your iCal calendars with a mobile device or a Google calendar you can have instant access to your plans from anywhere.

Lesson and Attachment Library

• Planbook includes a library feature where you can store commonly used lessons and attachments.
• To store a lesson or attachment in the library, simply drag it from the main Planbook window to the library table in the inspector
• Using library lessons is as simple as dragging them from the inspector onto the day or week view in the main window

Scheduling Features

• Assign times to your courses and arrange them by time of day. Courses can meet at different times on different days.
• Start your school year to late? Add a week at the beginning. Snow days forcing the year to extend another week? Add a week at the end.
• Ready for next year? Migrate your plans to a new start date and watch as you're instantly planned for the next school year with all your attachments already stored and ready to use.
